Level 1

Direction Marin / Environment

  • Choose the right spot on the beach
  • Get into position to catch the wave

Safety / Autonomy in water

  • Respect safety rules
  • Stay within flags and close to instructor

Technical

  • Get ready using the required equipment (combination – leash)
  • Catch the wave lying on the board
  • Stand up on the board
  • Keep your balance on the board

Level 2

Direction Marin / Environment

  • Select the right wave
  • Identify sea currents

Safety / Autonomy in water

  • Protect your head in the event of a fall
  • Bodysurf a breaking wave
  • Follow safety rules in the presence of current

Technical

  • Stand up quickly on the board
  • Maintain your balance whilst standing on the board
  • Turn right or left whilst standing on the board

At the end of your internship, a booklet will be given to you by your instructor to evaluate your level in surfing.

 

The Bronze Wave

Level 3

Direction Marin / Environment

  • Paddle out beyond the break
  • Get into position in the take off zone

Safety / Autonomy in water

  • Swim behond the breakers
  • Surf the wave back to the shore
  • Follow the safety rules specific to take off

Technical

  • Paddle efficiently in order to catch the wave
  • Master the take off
  • Maintain your balance at the bottom of the wave

Level 4

Direction Marin / Environment

  • Use the currents to reach the line up
  • Select the right wave

Safety / Autonomy in water

  • Bodysurf a wave
  • Paddle out efficiently

Technical

  • Pass behind the breakers without letting go of the board
  • Take off quickly
  • Maintain your balance from take off to the shore
  • Turn right or left after the take off

At the end of your internship, a booklet will be given to you by your instructor to evaluate your level in surfing.

The Silver Wave

Level 5

Direction Marin / Environment

  • Choosing the Waves
  • Put yourself in the right place to take the waves that run

Safety / Autonomy in water

  • Bodysurfer the shoulder of the wave
  • Respect the rules of priorities

Technical

  • Make “ducks” to pass the mosses
  • Take a direction to take off
  • Keep your balance up to the edge after the take off

Level 6

Direction Marin / Environment

  • Take the good waves
  • Take good trajectories on the shoulder of the wave

Safety / Autonomy in water

  • Bodysurfer the waves in a given direction
  • Respect the rules of priorities and user-friendliness
  • Ensure its own safety and provide assistance to people in difficulty

Technical

  • Follow the wave using a wave trajectory
  • Gain speed using the height of the wave
  • Accentuate the bottom turn in front of the back

At the end of your internship, a booklet will be given to you by your instructor to evaluate your level in surfing.

 

The Golden Wave

Level 7

Direction Marin / Environment

  • Select the right course to paddle out
  • Select the right time to paddle out

Safety / Autonomy in water

  • Bodysurf to the shore
  • Assistorhers within the safety zone

Technical

  • Duck drive and paddle out
  • Gain speed on the wave
  • Make a turn on the top of the wave
  • Drop back into the curl

Level 8

Direction Marin / Environment

  • Take avantage of currents to paddle out
  • Stay on the line up to catch good waves

Safety / Autonomy in water

  • Bodysurf from the line up to the shore
  • Bring back to the shore a surfer in trouble using his board

Technical

  • Execute a floatter
  • Combine a bottom turn and roller
  • Execute a cut back
  • Execute a barrel

At the end of your internship, a booklet will be given to you by your instructor to evaluate your level in surfing.
